In 2019, Miriam's House of Lynchburg partnered with Riverviews Artspace to host a Public Art Campaign called "No Place Like Home", bringing together 25 local artists to create a work of art in a unique way. Each artist was given a blank Ikea Dollhouse and given the task of showing what "Home" means to them.

From my artist statement:

“Home is being able to be unapologetically oneself despite that trauma, to surround oneself in positivity which fuels personal resiliency, joy, and healing.”

See the process below as I create "Firebird".
